Vivian Customs – Mar/Apr ’26

4/2: That’s a wrap. Unfortunately, it did end on a bit of a sour note as the “fresh” starter we had put on it is already wonky from the get-go. So a couple of customs were, sadly, unable to be filmed since the backup car was the Jeep for both of them and it’s dead too. Her and I are pretty much fried anyways so we just kinda looked at each other after hearing the Monte’s starter and were like, “Ugh, fuck this!” and got out in disgust. 😫😐

Ya win some, ya lose some and I’m truly sorry to the few folks who were patiently waiting only to end up empty handed. Refunds will be sent out by Saturday.

On a positive note, it’s kinda wild to think we’ve hit our 1500th formal custom video! I say formal because we’ve done some before we started cataloging them and then there’s many that were done for other reasons (comp, exchange for services, gift trades, car purchases, investing, etc) — which those you will start seeing more of as they’re all going to be the customs in the #5xxx and up range.

Vivian wanted me to let you all know that she truly loves and appreciates how there’s still so much excitement and eagerness to see her in your customs you submit. She loves doing them and it boosts her confidence to know you all still love to see her after all these years. Her and I have no plans to slow down and are already looking to November for our next shoot. She thanks you wholeheartedly, as do I.

I’ve already begun rolling them out, so keep them eyes peeled for something you may like. 😎

3/29: Well, the Jeep is 100% out of commission indefinitely. Oil pump said “Adios!” and hopefully we caught it before too much damage happened but it took me a few moments to realize that this ticking that was getting louder was coming from the Jeep and not something else around us. 😫

Also, the Monte Carlo is back at the shop getting another starter installed as the one that was just replaced wasn’t as good of a rebuilt starter and fried after 2 videos. 🙄

The Mercedes was running but the rubber hoses coming from the tank are rotted and I guess after the short amount of time she had the engine running the pressure eventually wore through the hoses. So when the fuel pump kicks on, fuel just pours out near the gas tank and never makes it up to the engine. Vivian just thinks she’s flooded it to the point it won’t even sputter because you can smell gas after cranking it just like when it’s flooded. I haven’t told her the real reason yet. 🤫Love watching her struggle, so we’ll keep that going for a bit longer.

Bug tires are dry rotted and won’t hold air, so can’t drive it.

Camaro rear tires are separating and dry rotted, so can’t risk driving it.

Volvo has no brakes right now as all the fluid is draining out from somewhere.

Looks like I’ve got a mountain of maintenance to get done to these cars. Giving my mechanics job security 🤣

3/27: Please understand that the quickest and most sure-fire way to NOT get your custom done or even considered is trying to dictate to me “This is how things are going to go.” 😆 (verbatim, received that recently) I am trying hard to get through all the customs and content I’m on the hook for but let’s just be honest, there has never been a single shoot I have done where we had customs and we completed all of them. Never has it happened in the 22 years of doing this. I LOVE doing customs for you folks and the ladies enjoy them too. But we can only get to so many.

Please just follow the guidelines I have laid out and let the process (and me) work. I understand that some of you have missed multiple past shoots to have your custom done and I do apologize for that. It’s not intentional it’s just that some are quicker on the draw when customs become open than others. If I start selecting which customs to do first instead of the order they were received, well then I start getting into a whole slew of other issues/drama that come with that.

As always, I am so ever grateful for the abundance of custom work!

*hears a shoe tapping in the background*

Yeah, so, the boss is telling me we got more cars to tear up, so let’s get it!! 🤣

3/5: She’s returning soon for round 2 before we take our long Spring/Summer break and pick back up in late Fall later this year. We’re going to be finishing up anything that is remaining from round 1 and then we’ll begin going through new content. Her form is open for anyone to send a custom inquiry in and, if we’re able, we’ll film it.

If you’ve submitted a custom that didn’t get filmed last time, I’ll be sending an invoice out here soon to go ahead and get you locked in for this shoot.
