Part 1 : Cranking (No specific camera angles)

Vivian steps out of her home, a spring in her step and a tune on her lips. Humming a tune, she feels a surge of excitement for the day ahead. “Today’s going to be fantastic,” she chirps to herself, her voice carrying a contagious optimism. As she approached her car, she pauses, melting affectionately at the sight of it, as if it was an old friend. “Good morning, beautiful,” she says softly, running her hand along the sleek exterior and gently patting the hood. Slipping into the driver’s seat, she talks fondly to her car, her voice filled with warmth. “Ready for another adventure, darling?” she chuckles, gently patting the steering wheel. She tries to start the car several times but it refused. “Oh, come on, sweetheart, don’t be shy” she cooed, trying again and again to start but no to avail. She laughes, kissing the steering wheel. “You’re just teasing me, aren’t you?” she says. After a few more tries, finally, the engine sputters to life, but the joy is short-lived as Vivian notices the fuel gauge hovering dangerously close to empty. “Looks like someone’s a bit thirsty,” she chuckles, tapping the gauge reassuringly. “Don’t worry, honey, we’ll make it to the gas station” With a determined smile, she set off, still optimistic and innocent.

Part 2 : Driving (Camera from passenger dashboard/windshield so we can see her)

Despite the dwindling fuel, she remains optimistic as she drive, chatting away to her car and stroking the steering wheel tenderly. She gently tells her car that it likes to tease her by running on fumes. She continues to drive for a few minutes still chatting animatedly to her car, stroking the dashboard affectionately. “You like to keep me on my toes, running on fumes like this, don’t you?” she teases. Finally, she reaches the gas station but as they neared the gas station, Vivian’s heart sank. It’s closed. She stopped the car,her mood shifting drastically, panic gripped her as she realized she would have to continue driving with an empty tank. “It’ll be fine, just have to find another station, won’t we?” she muttered, her voice shaky with embarrassment. Her laughter now tinged with anxiety, she whispered words of reassurance to her car, though her own doubts began to surface. With a heavy heart, she pressed on and drive away her laughter now tinged with nervousness.
She’s on the road again but this time, her mood has changed, with each passing mile, Vivian’s laughter grew more strained, her attempts at reassurance falling flat.Vivian’s laughter turned nervous as she searched for another station, her fingers caressing the dashboard and tapping the gas gauge in a gesture of reassurance. “It’s going to be okay,” she murmured, but the worry was evident in her voice. Along the drive, she tries to remain optimistic, but her worry about breaking down is becoming more and more obvious “we’ll make it, won’t we?“. Each times she felt her car starting to slow down or jerk, she keeps repeating herself “it’s nothing, it’s fine..” in a shaky voice. Finally , with no gas the car jerks and slow down, Vivian tries to keep going and staying optimistic. “It’s nothing, its’ nothing, it’s nothing“, she repeated like a mantra more and more louder, but her car had come to a complete halt: She is stranded, out of gas.

Part 3 : Cranking (no specific camera angles)

She’s shocked when she breaks down, comes to her senses and tries to start again. She continues to speak affectionately but shakily to the car but she’s still stressed. “It’s nothing, i’m sure“, “you just need some rest that’ all” she says trying to reassure her car and herself but her attempts to reassure herself and her car are not very effective. She loses more and more of her optimism and becomes more and more desperate as her attempts to restart the car are unsuccessful. She doesn’t want to believe she’s out of gas and keep reassuring herself while trying to restart the car but now she’s hopeless “i know you’re a fighter, honey, please…“. After a while of continuing to try to start her car and trying to reassure herself but to no avail, she gives up and lays on the steering wheel. After a few seconds, she remembers that she has a gas can in her trunk, so she happily and relievedly rushes to fetch her jerry can, only to discover that her jerry can is empty too. All optimism gone, she breaks down on the steering wheel.
