Let’s go for a ride in the old 1970 Volvo with Jane. It’s not too cold, only chilly enough for a lightweight leather jacket. She’s wearin these red moccasin loafers with her cuffed jeans and gets the Volvo fired right up. She’s lightly revving it when she looks at you slyly and motions for you to get in.
She stalls the car reversing out of the parking spot but it fires right back up though you can hear it’s still running rough from not being properly warmed up. Whether that’s an oversight or intentional, who knows? She gear shifter is just bouncing all over the place when the engine is running and it suddenly stops for a moment. All seems smooth now but Jane doesn’t realize it’s because engine has stalled while coasting down the hill. When she let’s off the clutch, she basically did a rolling start (popping the clutch) unintentionally.
She’s on the road and the car is running smoother now. It stalls on her once at a stop sign but she manages to get it re-fired without too much issue.
