Never heard of GEX but if I do in the future, I’ll stay far away. Up until this engine, we had a ‘shade tree’ mechanic build ours. Those never lasted long. This engine was a MoFoCo engine. Held up better, that’s for sure.
The engine that is now in the Bus is by restorer of VW’s, so we’ll see how it holds up.
