They’re waiting in the drive-thru for their food now. They chat a little bit and Vivian mentions one of her first jobs was at Dairy Queen (so was mine). She lightly revs the car while waiting, giving it a few little blips here and there. You can hear the idle of the Volvo change some, it’s not liking being kept waiting too long apparently. It starts chugging and bucking then dies just as Jane asks what is going on.
Great, now it’s flooded and not wanting to start. They silence from the girls speaks volumes as they’re both nervous that they’re going to be stranded. But hey, there’s a guy behind them they could ask for help if they needed it.
So, after a little scare, they got their food and are heading back home.
