She had some issues earlier getting the Coronet started and killed the battery. So, it’s been a little bit (an outfit change) and she’s loading up the car with a handful of boots she has to use later. She’s a bit optimistic that the car will start. I check the battery connections and it’s been charging correctly so it should have juice. She gets in and goes to get it started. It takes a few tries but it finally fires up and sounds like it’s running good.
I give her the camera to film herself while I disconnect the charger and move it out of the way. She gives you some dialogue and shots of her boots on the pedals before doing a little revving since it seems to be warmed up now. She does a mix of revving — some hard, some light while filming from her pov still. She gives it a quick rev at one point and the engine stalls.
“I didn’t do that!” she says because I was probably about to blame her. She’s trying to get the car started again and it sputters a time or two before finally firing up again. A few quick romps then light revving to bring things back down but the damn thing stalls out again. A couple more cycles of that stalling revving before I come around to take the camera and see what she’s doing ‘wrong’.
She plays innocent but, considering I’m not filming this, I didn’t know what she was doing. Was it intentional, accidental? I ask her and she just says it stalled and that it wasn’t her fault. Ok, I guess I’ll believe you ….not really.
So I get her to flood it to see how the car responds and yup, seems like she was messing with me to make me think the car was messed up. You sly lil devil you!
A little teasing/fun flooding and cranking before we finally head off.
