The door windows are rolled up and the drivers door is closed it’s cold outside that and windy, the battery seems to have a halfway decent charge, with it being so cold the starter isn’t spinning as fast as it should still Vassanta is able to do some pretty good cranking, she gets the engine to start after about a minute of cranking. Vassanta shifts into drive the engine dies on her with her right foot still on the brake pedal, if you look closely under the dashboard where the emergency brake pedal is it’s pushed down all the way. Vassanta forgot to release the emergency brake lever.
I don’t think that had anything to do with the engine dieing on her, because Vassanta didn’t warm the engine up at all. Vassanta goes back to cranking the way she’s pumping the gas pedal that is barely pumping it, she’s trying to get the engine to start for real. So fat this strategy seems to be working for Vassanta, the engine doesn’t even try to catch for about another couple of minutes, it seems to want to turn over.
Vassanta pleads with it to start, she’s calm cool and collective she keeps at it finally she gets the engine started this time she gets the engine rpms up there a little bit, as where he first time she got the engine started she barely revved the engine above idle.
