She’s still cranking away trying to get that Volvo started! It’s starting to sputter some, so that’s progress but her leg is getting tired from all the pumping. There is some conversation between us and I tell her to get back in the Jeep to rev it up when I start hearing the Volvo battery getting weak. So she gets to warm up a bit while the Volvo is getting some juice. When she goes back to the Volvo, she finally gets it started and revs it up some to make sure it’ll run on it’s own. She’s not too happy when I tell her to turn it off because she worked so hard to get it cranked! But all that work was just so we could move it for a custom video of …the car not starting.

As we continue from clip one Vivian is still cranking and pumping the Volvo’s gas pedal, the engine sputters a couple of times it seems to want to start. Vivian pulls the choke in and out a couple more times. After a couple of minutes the battery is getting a little bit weak. Shish tells Vivian to stop cranking and get back in the jeep and rev the jeeps engine so the battery in the Volvo can get a little bit of a charge. Shish follows and gets in the front passenger seat getting whole, upper and footwell video.
Vivian and Shish talk some as Vivian revs the jeeps engine she does this for a little over a minute she walks back over to the Volvo, as Vivian cranks and pumps the Volvo’s gas pedal she wonders out loud if she flooded the carburetor. Shish gets more video of the exhaust as smoke comes out of the exhaust pipe the engine sputters a couple more times before the engine starts up. Vivian revs the engine for close to a minute before Shish tells her to shut the engine off, they have to shoot that custom driving video in the Volvo.
